0:08 – Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women in India, but Survival rates are also improving. One way to increase survival rates is to detect cancer early.
Ways to Detect Breast Cancer:
– Screening program: For detecting breast malignancy, start Screening Patients at a younger age.
So that we can detect cancer in the early stage.
-International Guidelines states that women who are 50 years and above have to get a mammogram done yearly. Then consult an oncologist to go for further course of management.

1:10 – Apart from breast cancer, cervical cancers are also a burden in our country. Cervical cancer also has a screening program. There is also a Vaccine for cervical cancer. Children from 9 to 26 years of age group can undergo this vaccine. This vaccine is for the human pathaloma virus. This virus is responsible for cervical cancer. Taking a vaccine at an early stage can help to prevent cervical cancer. From the age of 21 years, every woman should consult a gynecologist for pathsmier testing. Based on this testing, doctors can detect cancer at an early stage. Prevention is always better than a cure, so go for the prevention by taking the vaccine and go for the screening program to detect cancer at an early stage.
