What causes pelvic pain?
Pelvic pain is a chronic medical condition that is quite common in women. As the name suggests, since the pain occurs in the pelvic area, in most cases it is often hard to differentiate whether you have abdominal pain or pelvic pain.
The occurrence of pelvic pain may or may not be due to any other underlying health conditions in women.
Conditions such as PID, ectopic pregnancy, endometriosis, ovulation, menstrual cramps, cysts in the ovaries or cystic fibroids, miscarriage can lead to pain in the pelvis region.
